Enterprise ERP for manufacturing, with the lab and the plant floor inside it
Midhunatech implements ERPNext on the Frappe Framework โ finance, stores, production, HR and GST โ then extends it with a full LIMS and live data from your PLC, weighbridge and biometric devices. Open source core, so there is no per-user licence fee. Our engineers commission it at your site.

LIMS โ your lab inside the same ERP
Sample login to certificate of analysis, sitting on the same batch record as production and dispatch. A failed result can hold the tanker before it reaches the gate.
Sample login and labelling
Samples raised automatically at defined process points or scanned in at the counter. Barcode label carries sample ID, point and due time.
Analyst worklists
Each shift's analyst sees only what is due, with method and instrument assigned. Overdue tests escalate to the QC head.
Direct instrument capture
GC, density meter, pH meter, spectrometer and hardness tester results land against the sample. No transcription step.
Specifications and out-of-spec
Limits per grade and per customer. An OOS result opens an investigation, blocks release and records who approved the retest.
Certificate of analysis
Built from approved results only, on your letterhead with method references, and attached to the invoice automatically.
Calibration and audit trail
Instrument calibration due dates, reagent expiry, retained samples, and every result edit stored with who, when and why.
| Parameter | Method | Spec | Result | |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Alcohol content | IS 323 | โฅ 99.90 | 99.95 | PASS |
| Acidity as acetic | IS 323 | โค 20.0 | 8.4 | PASS |
| Aldehydes | GC-FID | โค 30.0 | 12.7 | PASS |
| Methanol | GC-FID | โค 50.0 | 21.3 | PASS |
| Residue on evaporation | IS 323 | โค 15.0 | 18.6 | OOS |
The ERP reads your instruments directly
Most ERP vendors give you a data-entry screen and call it plant integration. Our gateway reads the controller and posts the value straight into the ERP record. Read-only โ your control network is not touched.
One reading, end to end
FERMENTER-1 ยท TT-301 ยท sampled every secondController data
Certificate-based sessions to Siemens, ABB, Rockwell and Honeywell systems without loading your control network.
Meters and drives
Energy meters, flow meters, VFDs, boiler panels and level transmitters, with scaling handled per device.
Native links
Direct reads where no OPC server exists, so an older panel does not need replacing to get its data out.
Weighbridge
Gross, tare and net read off the indicator. GRN raised on exit, ticket printed, no re-keyed weight.
Attendance devices
ESSL, Matrix and ZKTeco readers synced into HR with shift detection and contractor gate registers.
Test equipment
GC, density and alcohol meters, pH, spectrometers and hardness testers export into the LIMS sample.
Existing systems
Where a SCADA or historian is already installed we read from it instead of replacing your investment.
Statutory filing
GST, e-invoice, e-way bill, state excise and CPCB reporting built from the same plant records.

What buyers usually ask us first
What does it cost per user?
Nothing. The platform is open source with no seat licence, so you pay for implementation, custom work and support โ not for logins.
Cloud or on-premise?
Either. Plants with a strict IT policy run it in-house with off-site backup. Groups with several units usually run cloud with a gateway per site.
Are we locked in to you?
No. The platform is open source, your custom code is handed over, and the database stays yours. Any competent partner can take over.
Do you replace our SCADA?
No. If a working SCADA or historian exists we read from it. If not, we go directly to the controllers, read-only.
Can we start small?
Yes, and most do. Finance, stores and purchase first, then production and plant data, then the lab. Each phase priced separately.
Who does the work?
Our own Hyderabad engineers, on your site for the study, commissioning, training and go-live โ not a call centre.
What changed after go-live
Our shift supervisors spent three hours every morning compiling production reports by hand. The system now pulls it from the instruments and the complete report is waiting at 6:05 am.
Inventory variances dropped to almost nothing in the first month. GST filing that took two days now takes half an hour because the documents are already correct.
Live process monitoring with automatic alerts means deviations are caught while the batch is still running. Our rejection rate fell by more than thirty percent.
The zero licence fee model was decisive. We added users at no extra cost and the cloud has been rock solid โ no unplanned downtime in fourteen months.
Start with a scoping visit
Send your chart of accounts, a month of shift reports and your instrument list. We will come to the plant and tell you which modules cover you as-is, what needs custom work, and the phased cost โ before you commit to anything.
